Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to support the Pharmacy Technical Services in a busy QC laboratory. You will perform microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and processing of environmental samples, ensuring procedures are followed and records are complete.

The role requires organised, detail-oriented individuals who can work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to learning within cGMP/cGLP frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmaceutical QC lab and microbial testing.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain documentation.
• Familiarity with cGMP and cGLP requirements.
• Interest in microbiology and QC.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routineQuality Control activities supporting safe and effective Pharmacy Technical Services.
• Conduct environmental monitoring of the aseptic unit and process results.
• Record results accurately and escalate as needed for investigations.
• Assist with investigations into out-of-specification and out-of-trend results and communicate findings.
