Job summary

ROYAL SOCIETY OF CHEMISTRY is recruiting a QC Analyst for a permanent role in Hatfield. The role focuses on testing materials to agreed specs and ensuring timely delivery. You will maintain and calibrate lab equipment, uphold Quality Systems, and support investigations of deviations.

You will also assist in hosting inspections and contribute to QA activities. The ideal candidate holds a life sciences degree, has QC pharma experience, and demonstrates strong GMP knowledge and data interpretation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in life science or related field.
• Proven QC experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory.
• Strong grasp of GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Test materials according to specifications and procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Maintain laboratory quality systems and support deviation investigations.
• Write SOPs for QC support under supervision.
• Assist in inspections and audits for authorities.
• Support technology transfer projects, especially QC aspects.
