Job Opportunity: Quality Control Analyst

We are working with an established pharmaceutical company seeking to employ a Quality Control Analyst on a permanent basis in the Sandwich area.

This is an exciting full-time position with the following details:

  1. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunch break
  2. Salary: £29,000 per annum
  3. Benefits include:
  • 31 days annual leave, including Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production and QA departments to ensure manufacturing processes meet regulatory standards and GMP
  • Perform physical and analytical testing to ensure product compliance and quality
  • Record microbiological results accurately within data packages
  • Follow internal methodologies and protocols
  • Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards
  • Ensure all equipment is suitable and properly maintained

Candidate Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Forensics, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy
  • Experience in QC testing of API, including HPLC and GC; wet chemistry techniques are a plus
  • Attention to detail, good prioritization skills, positive and flexible attitude
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • GMP experience is desirable
