Position Details

Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Hampshire

Salary: up to £29,000 depending on experience

Company Overview

SRG is exclusively partnered with a leading manufacturer of personal care and cosmetic products based in Hampshire. Due to company growth, they are seeking a Quality Control Technician. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a keen interest or experience in the personal care/skincare industry.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with 33 days holiday.

Role Responsibilities

1. Perform QC testing on bulk, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure compliance with standards.
2. Utilize analytical/wet chemistry techniques such as pH, viscosity, IR, FTIR, colour, and odour checks.
3. Recommend and adjust batches to meet specifications.
4. Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure product consistency.
5. Assist in creating and implementing SOPs and testing methods.
6. Ensure regulatory compliance of all products.
7. Write detailed non-conformance investigations and assist with deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
8. Manage small continuous improvement projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Recent scientific degree in Chemistry or Cosmetic Science.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Full right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.
