Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking QA Testers for a temporary onsite role at our Liverpool office. You will execute test plans on pre-release software, report defects with precise documentation, and provide user feedback to help shape PlayStation products.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months in QA, understands networking in gaming contexts, and can work both independently and in teams with a flexible schedule. On-site testing is required in Liverpool.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of Games/Software QA experience.
• Understanding of networking setup and hardware and how it applies to modern gaming.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexible schedule.
• 1+ years QA experience in a related field (desirable).
• Related degree or equivalent qualification.

Responsabilités

• Carry out test plans on pre-release software.
• Assess product functionality against official quality standards.
• Research and document product defects and violations.
• Log issues for development team review in concise written formats.
• Provide user feedback to shape the end product.
• Apply knowledge of networking principles and online gaming functionality.
