QA Technician - High-Performance Engineering | Motorsport Manufacturing
Location: Thetford
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: £28,900 + Benefits


I'm currently working with a world-leading engineering and motorsport manufacturer, renowned for delivering cutting-edge, high-performance solutions across the automotive and racing sectors. They are looking for a QA Technician to join their dynamic team and play a vital role in maintaining the elite standards their name is built on. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform hands-on inspections of incoming parts and materials using metrology tools such as Verniers, Micrometers, and Faro Arms (CAD/CMM-based inspection).
  2. Confirm all parts meet required specifications, drawings, and internal standards.
  3. Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, including the release, quarantine, or rejection of components.
  4. Collaborate with stores, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely part release and issue resolution.
  5. Support a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen methodologies.

What You'll Need:
  1. Previous experience in a quality control role, ideally in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
  2. Competence with inspection tools and familiarity with CMM or CAD-based equipment (Faro Arm experience desirable).
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  4. A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  5. A team-focused approach with strong communication skills and flexibility to meet production demands.
