Job summary

You will lead the QA team, plan audits, monitor KPIs, analyse results, and mentor production colleagues to uphold food safety standards. This role offers operational autonomy and growth within a collaborative organisation.

• Proven QA/technical experience within a food factory environment.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule and mentor the QA team while overseeing daily activities, schedules and sampling programmes.
• Monitor, analyse and trend compliance KPIs and test results to manage non-conformances.
• Ensure adherence to BRCGS, HACCP and food safety legislation through audits and risk assessments.
• Assist in preparing for internal, third-party and regulatory audits and manage visits.
