manucomm recruitment is working with a food manufacturing site near Ilminster to recruit a QA Supervisor. Based in Ilminster, Somerset, the role offers circa £34,000 with Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. You will lead the QA team, ensure products meet quality specifications and support audits.

You will work closely with Production and Technical teams to drive improvements, monitor KPIs and foster a culture of food safety and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• A flexible, organised approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Team leadership experience is desirable.
• Food Safety, HACCP or Internal Auditing qualifications are an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring products meet quality specifications and food safety standards.
• Investigating out-of-specification products and supporting corrective actions.
• Coordinating GMP audits and supporting internal and external audits.
• Monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the QA team, including absence and holiday cover.
• Working collaboratively with Production to maintain quality and operational efficiency.

We’re looking for a proactive QA Supervisor to join our Technical team at our food manufacturing site near Ilminster.

If you have food manufacturing experience, a keen eye for detail and a passion for product quality and food safety, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make a real impact.

Working closely with Production and Technical colleagues, you’ll help maintain high standards, support audit compliance and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
