Performance Testing Manager - Build & Shape a New Function

We're seeking an experienced Performance Testing Manager to help establish and grow a performance testing capability for a fast-growing payments technology business. This is a unique opportunity to design, implement, and build a team that will drive the company's high-growth, high-scale ambitions.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and deliver performance testing strategy (load, stress, soak).

• Architect and build dedicated performance test environments.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and leadership teams.

• Provide visibility into performance risks and tuning opportunities.

• Champion a "shift-left" approach to performance testing.

• Mentor and guide teams on best practices.

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years in performance testing of enterprise apps, including 8+ years in a lead role.

• Strong hands-on experience with tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, K6, Kibana, etc.

• Expertise in performance testing APIs, web apps, and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).

• Background in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc).

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
