Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing or QA environment.
• Good understanding of food safety, quality systems and GMP.
• Strong attention to detail to identify quality issues and non-conformances.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Proficient in completing documentation and using computer systems.
• Proactive approach with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of raw materials, packaging and finished products against specifications.
• Identify and elevate quality concerns and non-conformances.
• Complete product sampling, testing and quality assessments.
• Monitor shelf-life evaluations and communicate findings to teams.
• Assist with investigations into quality issues and customer complaints.
• Verify traceability information and support product release processes.
• Collect and submit microbiological samples for laboratory testing per schedules.

• Complete product sampling, testing and quality assessments.
• Monitor shelf-life evaluations and communicate findings to relevant teams.
• Assist with investigations into quality issues, customer complaints and product defects.
• Verify traceability information and support product release processes.
• Collect and submit microbiological samples for laboratory testing in line with schedules.
• Support internal, customer and third-party audits.
• Help maintain excellent hygiene, housekeeping and food safety standards across the site.
• Contribute positively to a culture of continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Experience within a food manufacturing, quality assurance or similar operational environment.

Shift pattern

• 40 hours basic per week with overtime at 40 hours - 5 of 7 shift pattern
