Job summary

MorePeople is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead a team of around 30 Quality Controllers in a busy fresh produce operation. You will drive quality standards, ensure customer specifications are met, and support audit readiness across the site.

You will work with senior leadership to maintain product quality, lead continuous improvement, and develop the team as the site expands with a new facility. A hands-on, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large quality teams in fresh produce.
• Strong understanding of customer requirements and audit standards.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality systems (e.g., BRCGS).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of ~30 Quality Controllers.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams on quality issues.
• Oversee labeling compliance, sample handling and timely responses.
