Job summary

AVEVA Beijing is seeking a QA Lead to drive product quality across the China HMI portfolio. You will own test strategy, planning, reports, metrics, and automation initiatives, coordinating with Development, Product Management, DevOps, and Global QA to ensure high quality and timely releases.

The role requires 5+ years in software testing, strong SDLC and automation experience, proficiency with Playwright/Selenium/Cypress and CI/CD integrations, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or QA engineering.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA practices.
• Experience creating test plans, strategies, reports, and release quality assessments.
• Experience coordinating testing across multiple teams and products.
• Familiarity with UI automation and API testing tools.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own overall test strategy, test planning, and QA activities for China HMI products.
• Coordinate testing resources across HMI, SCADA, Historian, and related products.
• Develop and maintain test plans, reports, quality metrics, and release quality assessments.
• Establish and improve automated testing capabilities for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and manage testing infrastructure, environments, devices, and automation platforms.
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD workflows.
• Monitor quality indicators, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
• Define and track QA KPIs including coverage and defect metrics.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement.
