Job summary

MCS Group is seeking a QA Lead in Northern Ireland to build scalable QA processes and drive automation across the development lifecycle. You will partner with Product, Engineering and Operations to embed quality standards and accelerate release readiness.

The role focuses on establishing modern QA practices, improving test environments and enabling robust automation within an AI-driven tech platform used by global organisations.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated testing and test frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright.
• Experience with BDD.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Environment provisioning and test environment management.
• Release management.
• Agile development environments.
• Performance testing is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Build QA processes, frameworks and best practices across the organisation.
• Drive the adoption and improvement of automated testing.
• Develop automated tests and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish effective approaches to BDD and test automation.
• Work with Engineering to improve test environments and environment provisioning.
• Support and improve release management and release readiness.
• Introduce greater consistency around QA planning, execution, reporting and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through tooling and better ways of working.
• Provide technical guidance and support to QA team members.
• Help shape the future structure and capability of the QA function.
