Job summary

Trafford Park is seeking a detail-oriented QA to join our client’s team based in Trafford Park for a temporary 6-month contract. The role involves carrying out final and in-process inspections, ensuring products meet required quality standards, and completing essential QA documentation.

The successful candidate will support the product group and work with Production, Customer Services and Commercial to maintain high standards of quality and compliance. DBS check and UK right-to-work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection within manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Ability to interpret inspection data and generate certificates.
• Experience liaising with production and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out final inspections of finished parts and assemblies.
• Conduct in-process inspections to meet quality requirements.
• Analyse inspection data to produce certification documents.
• Liaise with Production, Customer Services and Commercial to support quality processes.
• Complete QA documentation including quality control plans and test reports.
• Generate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9100.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out final inspections of finished parts and assemblies, primarily within the product group.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet specified quality requirements.
• Analyse and interpret inspection data to produce accurate certification documents.
• Liaise with multiple departments, including Production, Customer Services and Commercial, to support quality processes.
• Complete QA documentation, including quality control plans, inspection plans and test reports.
• Generate and complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
  Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• The ability to accurately interpret technical and inspection data.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
• A thorough and organised approach to quality documentation.
  Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
• The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check carried out by the client.
