Job summary

BrightBox Group is seeking a QA Engineer to support a back-end modernization initiative with a focus on external interfaces and common components. The role is remote, with an ASAP start and a fixed end date in late 2026, plus potential extension.

The team will lean on Java engineering and AI-assisted development practices to boost delivery efficiency. You will drive test automation using Cypress and RestAssured, contribute to TDD efforts, and craft robust test designs, cases and scripts for

Qualifications

• Proven QA experience in back-end or API testing.
• Strong automation mindset with modern tooling.

QA Engineer

Location: Remote

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Until end of November 2026, with potential extension to March 2027

Day Rate: 440 - 500pd (Inside IR35)

Security Clearance Required: Active SC Clearance (Transferable during onboarding, finalised post-start)

This role is part of a significant back-end modernisation initiative, with a focus on the External Interfaces and Common Components domain. The project aims to overhaul banking interfaces, manage reference data services, enhance printing capabilities, and ensure seamless integration with external systems. It also supports shared components vital for business-facing applications, leveraging seasoned Java engineering teams and AI-assisted development practises to increase delivery efficiency while aligning with other ongoing transformation efforts.
