Job summary

Moonfire is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer to own product quality across rapid release cycles. You will manually test features and fixes across our web platform and APIs, exploring edge cases, identifying risks, and delivering fast, clear feedback to the team.

You will also automate stable, high-value scenarios using Playwright and Python, helping us make repeatable testing faster and more reliable. This is a manual-first role where automation is a powerful tool, not the entire job.

Qualifications

2+ years of QA automation experience.
Experience building frameworks from scratch.
Experience with Playwright for end-to-end UI testing.
Python programming (pytest, fixtures).
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

Manually test features and fixes across rapid release cycles.
Create concise test plans and checklists for new features and releases.
Investigate unexpected behaviour, isolate root causes, and write reproducible bug reports.
Work closely with engineers and product owners to clarify requirements.
Build, maintain, and integrate automated tests for stable flows into CI/CD.
