Job summary

CONDUCTR is expanding its Quality Assurance capability and seeks a motivated QA Engineer to own QA activities across projects—from planning through release. You will define testing strategies, plan and execute tests, and log defects in Jira while collaborating with developers, producers and designers to ensure high quality of interactive experiences.

The role combines digital testing with hands-on hardware and on-site testing in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' commercial experience in QA/testing.
• Experience designing test strategies, plans and cases based on risk and requirements.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and QA tooling.
• Ability to work with developers, producers and designers to resolve issues.
• Experience with distributed SDLC and testing processes.
• Comfort with testing in both digital and physical environments.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of QA activities across projects from planning through release.
• Define testing strategies based on risk and platform.
• Plan and execute functional, regression, smoke, UAT and exploratory testing.
• Log, track and verify defects using Jira with clear information.
• Work hands-on in physical testing environments including hardware and on-site devices.
• Challenge requirements where quality, usability or risk are concerned.
• Collaborate with software, production and QA teams to uphold quality.
• Adapt to shifting priorities across projects and deliver on timelines.
• Improve QA processes, tooling and standards across the organisation.
