Job summary

Team Creation Limited seeks a QA/Test Engineer to join its software testing team in the UK. The role focuses on planning, executing, and optimizing testing across multiple products, with opportunities to contribute to automation using Playwright.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of software testing experience, knowledge of SDLC/STLC, programming basics, and strong communication skills, including Chinese language proficiency. A dynamic, collaborative environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of software testing experience; fresh graduates considered.
• Good understanding of SDLC & STLC.
• Knowledge of programming.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese.
• Experience in test automation (Playwright).
• Experience in API testing.
• Experience in the Game industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Develop testing strategies aligned with project goals, ensuring coverage of functionality, performance, and security.
• Perform thorough manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and regressions across our products.
• Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests.
• Contribute to automation efforts by maintaining or writing simple automated test scripts.
• Log, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Prepare clear test reports and communicate findings effectively with the development team.
• Support ad-hoc testing tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:

• Collaborate with the development team to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Develop testing strategies aligned with project goals, ensuring coverage of functionality, performance, and security.

Test Execution and Evaluation:

• Perform thorough manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and regressions across our products.
• Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests.

• Configure and maintain testing environments for accurate and efficient testing processes.
• Work closely with developers and DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and testing cycles.

Issue Management and Reporting:

• Log, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Prepare clear test reports and communicate findings effectively with the development team.
• Support ad-hoc testing tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
