Job summary

Oxford Knight is seeking a Python Developer to join its Systems Development team, focusing on building and maintaining infrastructure and software platforms used by all systems teams. You will design and implement Python-based tools, improve existing libraries, and create new capabilities to automate and streamline operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Python experience, strong debugging skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python experience
• Strong debugging and fast problem analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals
• Bonus: knowledge of Debian, systems config mgmt and CI/CD tools

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based tools and libraries across the platform
• Improve and integrate existing tools and libraries
• Design and build new tooling for automation and infrastructure
• Contribute to open-source software and advocate automation
