Qualifications

• Proficient Python developer with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience in Linux environments and HPC is highly desirable.
• Experience collaborating with researchers and academics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and support Python software for research computing.
• Work with researchers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Maintain documentation and development best practices.
• Train and coach users and team members.
• Support workloads on HPC platforms and clusters.
• Contribute to code reviews and testing.
• Keep up-to-date with Python, RSE, Linux and HPC trends.
