Job summary

Client Server Limited in London is seeking a Python Developer / Engineer (SQL ETL) to build and optimise the data platform, focusing on data quality, reliability, and scalable ETL workflows across microservices and databases.

You will maintain infrastructure, including IaC, monitoring, disaster recovery, and operate the platform in a fast-paced hedge fund environment with strong bonus potential.

Qualifications

• You have strong backend development experience with Python.
• You have experience with financial or market data.
• You design and operate data-intensive distributed systems.
• You have knowledge of Relational, NoSQL and Columnar databases.
• You take ownership across the full development lifecycle.
• You are collaborative with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise the data platform with Python and SQL ETL.
• Improve software infrastructure including IaC, DR and observability.
• Monitor system health and respond to incidents to maintain reliability.
• Collaborate through code reviews and problem solving with teams.
