Job summary

Intec Select Ltd. seeks a Python Developer for a 6-month contract in London, working hybrid with 2 days per week on-site at the client's office. You will build and maintain customer-facing and internal platforms, using Python (Django) across the stack and RESTful APIs.

The role requires strong Python experience, SQL databases, and cloud knowledge; familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP and CI/CD is a plus. Prior retail/e‑commerce exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a Software Developer with Python (Django).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and API design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms is advantageous.
• Must be able to work on-site in London 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full stack web applications with a Python backend.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Work across both backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA and other engineers.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code review.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision‑making within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack in a production environment.
