Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking a Python Developer to build automation solutions, backend services and tooling for large-scale telecom network operations. You will develop REST APIs, automation scripts and data-driven applications to enable testing, monitoring and operational efficiency across 5G and enterprise platforms.

You will collaborate with QA, network engineering and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of professional Python development experience in automation or backend roles.
• Strong proficiency in building REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI, including authentication, error handling and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS and templating engines such as Jinja2 for lightweight web interfaces.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, including Bash scripting, cron jobs, process management and server administration.
• Experience building and deploying applications using Docker containers and Docker Compose.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD and version control using Git.
• Experience with Python automation libraries including requests, paramiko, subprocess, schedule and pandas.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, SSH and API integration patterns.
• Experience in the telecom domain or network automation, including 4G Core, 5G or service-based architecture.
• Knowledge of message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as OpenStack and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Familiarity with Pytest, Selenium or Playwright for test automation.
• Knowledge of Grafana, ELK stack or Prometheus for monitoring.
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum delivery practices.
