The Centre for Young Musicians is seeking an inspirational Musicianship Tutor for our Primary Years Programme. This self-employed role involves planning and delivering group musicianship lessons to students in school years 1–4, with sessions on Saturdays and the possibility of extra hours depending on skill and demand.

The ideal candidate holds a music degree and a teaching qualification or relevant experience; knowledge of Kodály is a plus. Classes run at Notre Dame School, London area.

Qualifications

• Degree in music and/or a teaching qualification or relevant group teaching experience.
• Knowledge of Kodály approach is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver musicianship lessons to groups of students in Years 1–4.
• Teach across the age range with flexibility for instrument specialism.
• Work on Saturdays for 3 hours, with potential additional hours.
