Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Shrewsbury is seeking a Band 6 PWP to help develop the Step 2 service within the NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT). You will provide guided self-help CBT, assess and treat patients, and extend access to underserved groups, including global majority and older adults, within diverse community settings.

You will work in GP practices and local community venues, sometimes with interpreters, and may split time between home working and base sites to support

Qualifications

• Essential PWP qualification and registration with recent professional development.
• Experience working with diverse community populations and service improvement.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines with varying priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and Step 2 interventions (guided self-help, computerised CBT).
• Develop group work in the community and liaise with Third Sector and health organisations.
• Ensure equitable access for diverse populations, including the Global Majority and older adults.
