Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is recruiting for a Step 2 Community Liaison Lead within the Mental Health Matters Wellbeing Service in Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent. The role combines local engagement with the Talking Therapies program and requires travel across the South Staffordshire locality.

Qualified PWPs with at least two years post-qualification experience and BABCP/BPS registration are invited to apply. Hybrid working and clinical supervision alongside the Step 3 team are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
• Completed PWP Supervision Training
• BABCP or BPS registration
• At least two years post-qualification experience in the PWP role
• Enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities

• Build trust and effective working relationships with individuals, community groups and services
• Inform, influence and empower local community members to engage with Talking Therapies
• Promote equality of access to Talking Therapies and social inclusion
• Help manage and support the delivery of low-intensity treatment across Staffordshire as part of a leadership and management team
• Develop and enhance the PWP role
• Travel across the locality as the role requires
