Worcester Bosch is seeking a proactive team member to support the Purchasing Quality Assurance function in Worcester. You will help manage quality topics on purchased parts, assist with supplier investigations, and work with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.

A hands-on, detail‑oriented Engineer with strong Excel skills is required. You will also engage in data management for quality complaints, support cost recovery and supplier relationships, and handle general administrative duties.

Job Description

Your Purpose:

• Support the Purchasing Quality Assurance team in their day-to-day activities.
• Work with a national and international Purchasing Quality team and support the business of Home Comfort in developing the supply base.

Role Scope:

• Support the Purchasing Quality Assurance team in dealing with quality topics from purchased parts.
• Support the problem solving and investigation of internal component complaints.
• Dealing with internal and external cross departmental teams.
• Dealing with external suppliers as required.
• Support the returns to supplier & cost collection process.
• Support the data management of quality complaints and supplier data.
• General administrative work when required.

Key Focuses:

• Support Production dealing with quality issues of purchased components.
• Containment actions and problem-solving activities.
• Inspection of delivered goods.
• Returns to suppliers & reimbursement process.
• Supplier data management in SAP.

Additional Information about the role:

• Provide technical support to production and other departments regarding non-conformances.
• Analysis, update and development of Purchase Quality databases as necessary.
• Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process.
• Other general projects or quality engineering duties as required.

Qualifications

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunch break
