Job summary

Gardenforum, one of Europe’s largest commercial nurseries, seeks a purchasing & planning professional to lead a three‑person Planning Team. You will manage purchasing of young plants, pots and key production materials to support £20m+ annual sales.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Production and suppliers, apply strong Excel skills, and negotiate effectively to ensure the right products and materials are available at the right time.

Qualifications

• Analytical, commercially minded with strong Excel skills.
• Experience in purchasing/procurement, supply chain or production planning.
• Horticultural experience is advantageous; FMCG/manufacturing candidates welcome.

You’ll lead a three-person Planning Team and work closely with Sales, Production and suppliers to ensure the right products and materials are available at the right time.

We’re seeking an analytical, commercially minded individual with purchasing, procurement, supply chain or production planning experience, excellent Excel skills and strong negotiation and communication abilities. Horticultural experience is advantageous, but exceptional candidates from FMCG, food production or manufacturing are welcome.

Full time permanent position.
