Job summary

A well-respected local business in Penrith is seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage purchasing across multiple brands. The role involves processing orders accurately, maintaining stock information, and liaising with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, be highly organized with attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills. This is a full-time permanent position with a salary dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the purchasing of products across multiple brands and categories.
  • Accurately process orders ensuring correct product codes.
  • Maintain and update purchasing systems with current stock and supplier information.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure purchasing aligns with business needs.
  • Analyze data to support cost savings and identify purchasing opportunities.
