Job summary

Safran is seeking a proactive Purchasing Data Analyst to strengthen data management, reporting, and continuous improvement across the Purchasing function in the UK. The role focuses on data quality, insights, and supporting digital transformation within Procurement processes.

Based in Cwmbran, Wales, you will develop KPI dashboards, enhance Power BI reporting, and act as the ERP data focal point while collaborating with data owners to improve governance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Develop, maintain, and analyse Purchasing KPIs and performance dashboards covering Quality, Cost, Delivery, and operational metrics.
• Create and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Act as the Purchasing focal point for ERP data, processes, and data quality management.
• Work closely with data owners and stakeholders to improve data governance, accuracy, and consistency across Purchasing systems.
• Support the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation opportunities within Purchasing processes and reporting
• Manage and maintain Power BI and Power Platform applications to drive business efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) subject matter expert, supporting users, delivering training, and coordinating PRA activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyse Purchasing KPIs and dashboards (Quality, Cost, Delivery, ops metrics).
• Create / enhance Power BI reports to support decision-making.
• Be the ERP data focal point for Purchasing data and processes.
• Collaborate with data owners to improve data governance and accuracy.
• Support AI and automation initiatives in Purchasing reporting.
• Maintain Power BI and Power Platform apps for efficiency.
• Serve as P2P SME, deliver training, coordinate PRA activities.
