Job summary

A Purchasing Co-ordinator role is available at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Yate to support the Purchasing Department with timely, cost-effective procurement and strong supplier relationships.

You will handle stock management, issue purchase orders, liaise with inventory, warehouse, operations and finance, and generate supply chain reports to ensure continuity of supply across the business.

Qualifications

  • General secondary education, GCSE Maths and English.
  • Experience of purchasing and stock management.
  • Experience in a demanding role with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a seamless on-stop supply chain for company, customers and staff.
  • Place small purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Manage stock and inventory queries.
  • Collaborate with inventory, warehouse, operations, customer service and suppliers.
  • Administer purchase orders, chase back orders and flag stock issues.
  • Create supply chain/inventory reports and interpret data.
  • Resolve supplier invoices with suppliers, inventory and finance.
  • Track outstanding orders and follow up delayed shipments.
  • Manage supplier returns and eBay account/dead stock.

Job Vacancy - Purchasing Co-ordinator
The Role:

To support the Purchasing Department by ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services, building strong internal and external supplier relationships and ensuring continuity of supply across the business.

Duties to include:
  • To provide a seamless on stop supply chain where the company, the customer and our employees work as one for mutual benefit.
  • Placing of small purchase orders with suppliers
  • Dealing with all aspect of stock management/inventory queries
  • Working with inventory, warehouse, operations, customer service and suppliers
  • Purchase Order administration/chasing of back order and communicating on any potential stock issues
  • Create supply chain/inventory reports and interpret data
  • Dealing with supplier invoice resolutions, with suppliers, inventory and finance
  • Track outstanding orders and follow up on delayed shipments
  • Management of supplier returns
  • Management of the eBay account/dead stock management.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following attributes:
  • Able to work productively in a highly pressured environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone and via email
  • Experience of purchasing and stock management
