Qualifications
  • Two years of purchasing experience preferred, with the ability to reconcile deliveries and create purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with ordering medical supplies for the organization, including all satellite facilities.
  • Prepare and maintain supply requests, Item Master File, par levels, cycle counts, physical inventory, shipping/tracking, purchase orders, and filing.
  • Maintain integrity of purchasing and inventory databases.
  • Research and prepare specifications and requests for quotations or prices.
  • Maintain approved supplier lists and accurate product expiration data.
  • Receive, unpack, reconcile, and update inventory data accordingly.
  • Deliver supplies within the facility as needed.
  • Prepare order requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Provide delivery and status updates to purchasers.
  • Arrange for shipment of supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with ASC materials handling as needed.
  • Support all functionalities within the Materials Department as a backup.
  • Communicate effectively with external vendors and internal staff, including peers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct reports.

Effective communication skills; ability to speak and understand English fluently.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently; work within the range of floor to overhead, including pushing, pulling, and stair climbing. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
