Job description

Southampton Offices 4 days a week Friday Remote

Package £25k - £28k depending on experience

We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join us in supporting our clients with exceptional service. As the Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for the purchasing of goods and services from our suppliers.

  1. Processing orders from our sales team to our suppliers.
  2. Using Sage as our core platform for processing.
  3. Managing our suppliers to ensure they meet our service expectations and building relationships to achieve great service and cost savings.
  4. Spotting trends in buying patterns to identify opportunities.
  5. Using our CRM to ensure the sales team has all necessary information for tracking and delivery.
  6. Evaluating daily back orders to improve lead times by coordinating with other suppliers.
  7. Managing goods returns according to the RMA process.
  8. Liaising with the tech team to ensure goods are built quickly and correctly for prompt delivery.
