Job description

This is a Temporary, Full-Time vacancy that will close in a month at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

12-14 Month Fixed Term Contract - End Date of 30 September 2026

Salary: £31,019 per annum. This will rise to £31,679 upon successful completion of your probationary period.

Hours: 9-5pm, Monday to Friday

The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the purchasing Front Line Manager and liaising with the central Procurement team in all purchasing transaction processing of goods/services at the site. In line with the Global Category Strategy, the Purchasing Assistant will work closely with the Procurement Manager and site team to deliver timely responses to and processing of orders, as well as providing administrative support to meet business requirements.

The Purchasing Assistant will also oversee day-to-day activities within the stores, ensuring regular stock takes for all non-secure items are carried out and that stock levels are maintained according to agreements.
