Job description

Our West London based client works with artists, interior designers, architects, galleries, fabricators, printers, and framers to create outstanding art collections.

With a spike in workload, they are currently looking to hire a Purchasing Assistant on an initial 10-month fixed term contract.

In this role, you will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and be comfortable juggling multiple tasks while working as part of a small team. You should possess excellent time management skills, a great work ethic, and have a genuine desire to succeed!

You will ideally have experience in purchasing large volumes of bespoke design items.

You’ll be working closely with the Senior Production Coordinator and Art Coordinators, helping to bring stunning commissioned artworks to life—sculptures, paintings, prints, and bespoke frames.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Raising purchase orders and managing invoices
  2. Preparing detailed specifications
  3. Supporting with credit card reconciliations
  4. Liaising with talented artists, framers, galleries, and suppliers
  5. Keeping print supplies fully stocked
  6. Assisting with office purchasing across a vibrant team of seven
