A recruitment agency in Belfast is seeking a Procurement Administrator to support purchasing activities and maintain efficient procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have over a year's experience in a similar role, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Location: Belfast | Hybrid (approx. 80% onsite) Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Procurement Administrator to join a busy and growing Procurement function. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you will play a key role in supporting purchasing activities and ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant processes across the department.
Provide administrative and documentation support to the Procurement team, including handling import documentation.
Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and requisitions.
Maintain accurate supplier information and procurement records within internal systems.
Monitor delivery schedules, expedite orders, and liaise with suppliers to resolve any delays or issues.
Support supplier onboarding and maintain up-to-date vendor databases.
Assist with invoice processing and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and the Finance team.
Compile procurement reports, including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics.
Organise and prepare documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Act as a key point of contact for internal departments and external clients to support effective communication.
Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.
At least 1 year's experience in a similar administrative or procurement-related role.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Reliable, flexible, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Full driving licence and access to a car.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
