Barrett Steel Limited, the UK’s leading independent steel distributor and processor, is offering a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship in our Purchasing Team at Bradford. You’ll provide administrative and purchasing support under the Purchasing manager, with blended learning and hands-on training.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The role includes бағдарлам training, mentoring, and progression opportunities within Barrett Steel.

Competenze

• GCSE English & Maths at grade 5 or above.
• Live local to site and drive or learning to drive.
• Basic IT skills; confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Mansioni

• Identify and order group central stocks.
• Support logistics for bringing material in; plan incoming loads and communicate with suppliers, depots, operations and commercial teams.
• Monitor, progress and check orders with suppliers; enter purchase orders and verify accuracy.
• Ensure receipt of incoming materials per Goods Inward Schedule and procedures; complete customs declarations.
