Job summary

Artemis Human Capital seeks a Purchase to Pay Lead in Belfast to head the Accounts Payable team within a global shared services environment. You will oversee day-to-day AP operations, drive performance, and lead continuous improvement across P2P processes.

You will coach staff, manage invoices and payments, and collaborate with Finance and Procurement to optimise cash flow and accuracy. A strong AP background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive Accounts Payable experience, ideally within a shared services environment.
• Previous experience managing and developing an AP team.
• Strong understanding of Purchase to Pay processes, KPIs and SLAs.
• Experience driving process improvements and leading cross-functional projects.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and manage the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable team.
• Allocate workloads, monitor performance and ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Review payment runs, resolve supplier queries and oversee statement reconciliations.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase accuracy and automation.
• Provide coaching, training and ongoing development to team members.
• Work collaboratively with Finance, Procurement and wider departments to improve P2P processes.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
