Job summary

Flow Student in Manchester is seeking a meticulous Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our growing finance team. You will process invoices, raise and code purchase orders, and manage supplier queries across multiple sites to keep records accurate and reconciled.

You will work with Sage Intacct, Excel and the wider finance function, supporting payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations. We offer stable, long-term opportunities, with a welcoming team and scope for professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a purchase ledger role
• Raising and managing purchase orders
• Logging and coding invoices, matching invoices to purchase orders and processing utility bills across multiple sites
• Obtaining invoice approvals, responding to supplier queries and supporting payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience of Sage Intacct or a similar accounting system desirable
• Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Experience in property, lettings or a multi-site business would be advantageous
