Job summary

Hedin Automotive is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy Finance team. You will maintain the purchase ledger, process supplier invoices, and ensure timely payments for one of the world’s admired automotive brands.

The role offers office-based hours (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm) and a salary up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This is a great opportunity to develop finance and accounting skills within BMW & MINI franchises.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in processing supplier invoices and maintaining purchase ledgers.
• Comfort with MS Excel and basic accounting tasks.
• Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines in a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Register and process purchase invoices accurately within the accounting system.
• Reconcile supplier statements prior to payment runs.
• Monitor the Purchase Ledger inbox and respond to queries promptly.
• Handle supplier calls and correspondence professionally.
• Process employee expenses for payment via BACS.
• Provide month-end administrative support to Finance.
