Job summary

Tailored Search Recruitment Limited in Birmingham is partnering with a high-growth business to appoint a Purchase Ledger Manager who will lead a small team and shape the AP function during a transformation.

You will own the purchase ledger, drive improvements, manage supplier relationships, and support month-end activities, with hybrid work including three days in the Birmingham office.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small AP team.
• Strong understanding of PO and AP processes.
• Ability to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of three Purchase Ledger Clerks.
• Oversee the full purchase ledger process for accuracy and efficiency.
• Drive improvements across systems, controls and workflows.
• Build strong supplier relationships and resolve queries promptly.
• Support month-end reconciliations and reporting.
• Partner with the wider finance team during a period of transformation.
