Job summary

Fisher German LLP in Ashby de la Zouch is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to join our small, friendly Head Office team on a permanent basis. The role is full-time with hours 08:45–17:15 and hybrid working policy.

You will process supplier invoices, resolve discrepancies, run BACS, set up suppliers, and support monthly close. A discretionary bonus, generous holiday entitlement, and wellbeing benefits accompany the base salary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a similar role.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong use of Microsoft Packages – especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and queries.
• Prepare and process bimonthly BACS runs.
• Process ad hoc payments.
• Set up new suppliers.
• Purchase Order control.
• Support month-end tasks.
• Support the wider finance team as required.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to join a small & friendly team on a permanent basis, in our Head Office in Ashby de la Zouch. This role will ideally suit you if you’re detail orientated, enjoy working in a vibrant & social office and always give a first-class experience to the wider business.

This is a full-time, permanent role and the hours will be 08.45am – 17.15pm Monday to Friday although there is flexibility with these timings as long as our core hours are covered & we operate a hybrid working policy.
