Job summary

Huntress is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a Basildon-based finance team. This fully office-based role involves processing invoices, matching and coding, and assisting with supplier setup to ensure smooth supplier transactions.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm with an early finish on Fridays. Starting salary is 28k-35k depending on experience (DOE), with free parking on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchase ledger / accounts payable.
• Accurate data entry with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in processing invoices and supplier setup.
• Ability to work well within a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Match and code invoices.
• Prepare and run BACS payments.
• Reconcile supplier accounts.
• Set up new supplier accounts.
• Support the finance team to ensure smooth department operations.

• Preparing and running BACS payments
• Reconciliations
• Setting up new supplier accounts
• Working as part of the finance team to ensure the smooth running of the department

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm with an early Friday finish

Fully office based position, with free parking on-site

Starting salary of 28k-35k DOE
