Job Description

We are seeking a purchase ledger and accounts assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will assist with accounts for our client's prestigious engineering company located in Burton on Trent.

Your daily tasks will include:

  1. Sales ledger work
  2. Account management
  3. Payroll processing
  4. Financial administration and data entry
  5. General administrative duties

Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire

Reference: 168790

Duration: Ongoing temporary role with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £12.82 per hour, equivalent to an annual salary of approximately £25,000.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, around 08:00-16:30. Hours are flexible, especially for those seeking school hours.

Closing Date: 2025-06-01

Experience & Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • Own transport (due to location and shift times)
  • At least 1 year of experience in an accounting environment
  • Proficiency in IT skills
