Job summary

Bede's Trust is seeking a temporary Minibus Driver for the Senior School in Upper Dicker. The role supports transporting pupils to school, fixtures, and trips, with emphasis on safety and adherence to routes and timetables.

The position is term-time only, 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with two Saturday Open Mornings and one INSET day annually. Applicants must hold a D1 license and pass a recent eye test.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence Category D1.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Confident, polite and organised with high safety standards.
• Eye test within the last 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Transport pupils to and from school according to timetable and routes.
• Supervise safety and pupil conduct on vehicles.
• Cover morning and afternoon bus runs as per schedule, including two Saturday Open Mornings and one INSET day per year.
• Adhere to school policies and current legislation at all times.
