Future Generation Trust's Willows is seeking an experienced minibus driver to support term-time trips and events. This casual role requires a full clean driving license (D1 preferred) and a commitment to safeguarding, with vehicle checks and safe transport of pupils and staff.

You will be available during term time to drive pupils and staff to sporting events and excursions, maintaining high safety standards and a friendly, professional manner with children and families.

Qualifications

• Hold a full clean driving license ideally with a D1 category.
• Carry out the Staffordshire County Council minibus medical and driving test.
• Be a reliable, responsible and safety-conscious driver with a commitment to the welfare of children.
• Be flexible and willing to work on a casual basis to support school trips, sporting events and other activities.
• Ensure the minibus is operated safely, carrying out vehicle checks and following school procedures.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have a friendly, approachable and professional manner when working with children, staff and families.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils.

Responsabilités

• Drive the school minibus to events and trips as required.
• Carry out vehicle checks and adhere to school procedures for safety.
• Support school trips and after-school activities with reliable transport.
• Interact professionally with pupils, staff and families.
• Assist with safeguarding and welfare while on transport.
