Job summary

Redhall School is seeking a Pupil Support Worker to join our peripatetic team. Salary is £27,257 - £29,850 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional) with 27.5 hours per week over 39 weeks. The successful candidate should have empathy and experience supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autistic Spectrum Conditions.

The role may require working in other City of Edinburgh Council special schools as needed, and pre-employment PVG scheme checks are mandatory.

• Experience of working with children with additional support needs.

Responsibilities

• Redhall School is looking for an empathetic individual to join our support staff team on a peripatetic basis.
• The peripatetic nature of this post means the successful candidate may be required to work in other special schools in the City as the need arises.
• A PVG Scheme check is required and pre-employment checks must be satisfactory.
