Job summary

Redhall School in Edinburgh is seeking an empathetic Pupil Support Worker to join our peripatetic staff on a part-time basis. You will support children with additional support needs, many with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, across primary-age pupils.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and patient approach to supporting children.
• Experience working with children with additional support needs, preferably ASD.
• Awareness of inclusive education practices.

Responsibilities

• Work on a peripatetic basis, supporting pupils in Redhall School and potentially other city schools as required.
• Assist with classroom activities and routines to enable pupil participation.
• Support PVG pre-employment checks and safeguarding requirements.
