Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Pupil Support Worker for Stenhouse Primary School. The role is 15.5 hours per week across 39 weeks, with sessions from Monday and Thursday 8.30am–3.15pm and Friday 8.30am–12.15pm.

The successful candidate will work in both class groups, supporting pupils with additional needs in a nurturing environment. Regulated work with children under PVG requirements; an overseas criminal record check may be needed if applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children with additional support needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in two classes with eight pupils each.
• Support pupils with ASD and other complex needs in a nurturing learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and EYP to implement individual plans.
