Job summary

Leith Walk Primary School in Edinburgh is seeking two Pupil Support Assistants to join our Pupil Support Team. The roles are fixed-term until 31 March 2027, with part-time hours of 16 per week across 39 weeks.

The post involves supporting pupils with additional support needs to access education and meet their care and wellbeing needs. You will work collaboratively as part of a team and support in day-to-day school operations under the leadership team, including handling challenging behaviour

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional support needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
• Willingness to engage with safeguarding and PVG checks.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional support needs to access education.
• Assist in day-to-day school operations as directed by leadership.
